To someone hearing about article spinning for the first time the initial thought may be, “That’s pretty smart.” Write one article and then use a software tool to create or ‘spin’ multiple versions of the same article. You get 10 – 100 times the results with only a fraction of the work. After all, aren’t all the Internet marketing gurus doing just that? So it must be a win-win article marketing strategy and definitely the way to go, right? Actually, the answer is no.

The problem with an article spinner including even the best article spinner, is its ultimate effect on your credibility and your reputation. In any legitimate business your reputation and credibility mean everything. An online business is no different. Even the best article spinner is incapable of generating content that isn’t gibberish and doesn’t read like garbage. If you are able to get certain directories to accept your articles, your readers who are looking for original content will lose interest in your articles because they will soon learn that your article content is merely a load of recycled junk. If readers don’t see you as a credible writer, what are the chances that they will trust you enough to buy the product you’re promoting?

Apart from your readers, another important reason why you want to avoid the use of an article spinner is because you want to ensure that you always offer great content and build credibility with ezine publishers who may select your article for inclusion in their email newsletters. The true testament to the credibility and quality of an article writer is how often the writer’s articles are picked up by ezine publishers after they have been published by an article directory. You want to submit the type of articles that will have publishers coming back for more. You can’t achieve this by continuously submitting poor quality articles.

Faster and easier doesn’t necessarily mean better. While using an article spinner is definitely easier and faster than writing original articles each and every time, it is by no means better for your article marketing strategy and your online business. If your goal is to build a long-lasting, solid online business through article marketing, original article content is the way to go. It has been shown that truly original content (written by humans) get considerably better click through rates and conversion rates because the authors have built credibility with the readers. After all, aren’t better click through rates and conversion rates the reason why we’re writing articles in the first place?
